Zion is a liquid fertilizer for the control of zinc deficiency with strong acidic reaction which contains concentrated zinc sulphate mono-hydrate (ZnSO4-H2O) in a hydrated ionic form with high bioavailability and efficacy
Zinc ionization is achieved via innovative technology which results in the creation of active and stable Zn2+ ions complexed with dipole molecules of water with the help of special interfusion agents
It is absorbed rapidly by plants compared to other zinc fertilizers due to the ionic Zn2+ form of zinc which is readily available to plants
It is a highly stable formulation as it can be kept unchanged for up to 10 years in storage conditions. Zinc is preserved in a water-soluble ionic form. It does not form sediment or agglomerates
The application doses are very small due to its high potency, and rapid entry and movement into plant tissues. It is applied at doses of 50-100 ml/100l of water foliarly.
It can also be applied through the soil with drip irrigation systems at doses of 1-2 l/ha. Foliar and soil doses vary depending on the crop, the crop stage and the type of soil
All zinc content in Zion is bio-available to plants
Zion does not cause clogging of nozzles and irrigation piping: it creates homogeneous and stable aqueous solution without agglomerates, sediments and salts
It does not stain plants and their organs
It can be used in organic farming
It corrects pH in alkaline soils when used repeatedly
Dosages can be reduced in case of multiple applications during the vegetative period
When Zion is applied through the soil, Zn2+ ions remain stable and available to plants in a wide range of pH conditions, up to 9.0
